You sent reading resources and reading guidance to rural primary schools that lacked reading resources and reading guidance. I sincerely thank leaders at all levels and people from all walks of life who pay attention to our extracurricular reading work. I sincerely thank Qingyuan Primary School for providing us with this learning opportunity.

Suhomlinski, an educator in the former Soviet Union, once said: "The way to make students smarter is not to make up lessons or increase homework, but to read, read and reread." In today's information society, it is urgent for students to learn to collect and process information and cultivate their strong extracurricular reading ability. This year, with the donation of the "Reading, Flying Dreams" cultural care program, the enthusiastic guidance of President Liang and the active participation of all teachers, students and parents in our school, extracurricular reading has been vigorously carried out in our school, which has become a common practice for students of all classes and broadened their horizons. It increases students' knowledge, develops students' intelligence, cultivates students' sentiment, improves students' writing level, lays a scholarly life for children and lays a solid foundation for their lifelong learning and development. Here, I will report the extracurricular reading work in our school as follows:

First, diversified publicity guides parents to pay attention to extracurricular reading.

Our rural children are poor in extracurricular reading resources. When each class first set up a book corner, children were asked to donate books voluntarily, and quite a few children could not even donate a decent book. This shows how indifferent parents are to their children's reading awareness. The questionnaire information from students and parents made us think deeply. At the opening ceremony of the Reading Festival, we invited parents to listen to President Liang's lecture on reading significance, reading objectives, reading methods and habits, and organized parents to visit the new library. Every parent-teacher meeting and home visit, we often exchange reading topics with parents. Through multi-channel and continuous communication with parents, we are glad to see that many parents have some feelings through this questionnaire survey on "New Library and Reading Activities of Blackstone Primary School". The Dream Flying Cultural Care Program provides children with so many books that children like. Thanks to the teachers' reading activities, children have an interest in reading and good habits.

Second, lead teachers and parents to ensure extracurricular reading time.

1, watch movies, and inspire teachers' sense of responsibility.

They don't understand and can't accept the need to write a book card, label it, cover more than 1000 new books, and especially add reading self-study during lunch break. After school on September 1 Sunday, the school organized all teachers to watch the propaganda CD of the "Reading, Dreaming and Flying" cultural care program in multimedia, so that teachers can fully understand their loving actions, let their selfless love inspire their enthusiasm, and let their good deeds inspire teachers to lead their children to the reading world.

2, to ensure the administrative work of school time.

Provide unified reading self-study for the school at noon 13:30-2:00 every day. In reading self-study, our school administration takes the lead, each person is responsible for reading self-study twice, and personally accompany the children to study after work. The headmaster insisted on patrolling and praised the teachers for organizing students to read quietly and orderly at the meeting. In less than two weeks, the teachers got used to it, the complaints disappeared and the children were fascinated by books. It can be seen that "teaching by example is better than teaching by words."

3. Establish a contact manual between teachers and parents to ensure reading time at home.

In addition to stipulating students' reading time at school, the school also stipulates that teachers give priority to reading in their homework. Ensure 20-30 minutes of extracurricular reading time every day, establish a home-school contact activity manual, read the unified format requirements on the bibliography registration card, write down the date, reading purpose, number of pages, and parents' signatures. Junior and senior high school students read the report once a week, and the Chinese teacher checks it once a week to evaluate the good reading report regularly. Extracurricular reading extends to the family, ensuring that children have enough extracurricular reading time.

Third, establish a mobile book corner to guide administrators to make books flow orderly and effectively.

1. Establish a mobile book corner to enrich reading resources.

In order to recommend good books to students, so that students can read and have good books to read, at the beginning of each class, count the books of the whole class, register them in the class bibliography statistics table, post them in the class, let each student write his name and student number in his extracurricular books, establish a class mobile book corner, and facilitate each child to borrow books, and carry out the activity of "donating one book to read hundreds" in the class. Chinese teachers use the reality of "school books" and "students' own books" to set up "good book exchange stations" in groups to promote students to enjoy the existing book resources, realize "reading with good books" and enrich students' reading resources.

2, hierarchical management, so that books can flow orderly and effectively.

Under the training guidance of the school librarian (Mr. Tan) and the class teacher, a group of intelligent and responsible librarians have been trained. In reading self-study, each class adopts the methods of hierarchical management, grouping and sending and receiving, and responsibility to people, so that books can flow in children's hands in an orderly and effective manner. At present, the borrowing form of the school is that each class is borrowed from the library once every half month by the teacher. Students usually take turns to borrow books from the library for free. The school library is on duty by middle and senior students every day, and is responsible for borrowing, returning, registering and sorting books.

Fourth, set up rewards to guide teachers and students to create a "full garden book"

While I secretly enjoy the steady progress of reading and self-study, I still have a feeling that I am "single". Such reading activities are "single" and static under the unified pace. I think about how to enrich and touch our reading activities day and night. In mid-June, 5438+10, according to the actual reading in our school, the evaluation index of "scholarly classroom" was drawn up, and the final prize of "scholarly classroom, scholarly students, scholarly family, excellent newspaper reading and excellent feeling after reading" was established. All these have pointed out the direction for Chinese teachers to carry out reading activities and activated their thinking. Under the guidance of "indicators and rewards", various classes have carried out colorful activities such as "reading tabloid contest", "collecting excellent ideas after reading", "writing letters" and "bibliography recommendation meeting". The whole school holds a classic reading meeting, and each class reads a rich blackboard newspaper. Innocent and interesting "Caterpillar Bookstore", "Little Snail Bookstore", "Nutrition Gas Station" and "Bee Bar", exquisite reading tabloids and book list posters, bearing the knowledge and wisdom of students and sincere feelings after reading, constitute a colorful reading picture, exude a strong book fragrance and create a reading atmosphere full of books. In interesting and colorful activities, students experienced the fun of reading after class.

Bao Shu, we always thought it was a pressure head. During Chairman Liang's previous two visits, we always complained about the confusion. We thought President Liang would come again for the third time. We are embarrassed to wrap this book yet. We made up our minds to let the teacher try Bao Shu and use the lunch break at noon to move the tools and materials to the central hall. Four or five teachers and collaborators will pack it in ten minutes. We found it difficult to deal with the problem of "cutting plastic film" in Bao Shu. How come? So we made another bold attempt. The math teachers in each class cooperate to cut plastic film for each book, and then let each child take one back and pack it. The next day, I eagerly asked the teacher how the schoolbag was, and they said, "It's well wrapped." I was overjoyed, so the librarian distributed all the books to three classes in grades 4-6, and then each child packed 1-2 books every day. In order to arouse Bao Shu's enthusiasm and ensure the quality of Bao Shu, I publicized at the meeting that each class should choose 10 "Bao Shu experts". 1-3 grade teachers heard that they were going to evaluate "Bao Shu experts" and spontaneously sent some books to teachers in grades 4-6. It can be seen that "motivation is stronger than command".

At the end of the term, 40 exquisite reading tabloids were selected, and excellent reading experiences were displayed in the whole school, including 24 scholarly students such as Huang Ziwei, 30 experts from Bao Shu such as Wu Si, 4 scholarly classes such as Chen Sijia 12 and Zhang Chi, and 10 library management experts. In the exhibition and commendation activities, the award-winning students get psychological satisfaction, thus stimulating their reading interest. At the same time, it also encourages everyone to have an upward alignment psychology.

Five, promote and consolidate the implementation of "extracurricular reading activities"

Extracurricular reading has taken root in our school. Although some achievements have been made, there are still many shortcomings:

1, the implementation of extracurricular reading inspection for students in some classes is not specific. The teacher's recommendation of good books and the guidance of reading methods are not enough, which leads to some children not developing good reading habits.

2. Be patient to the end. Correct understanding, don't regard extracurricular reading as "appropriate activity", it is vigorous at first, and it will be cold and cheerless after a short time. Promoting students' extracurricular reading activities requires a "slow-paced" tone of work, so don't expect immediate results. Chinese learning is difficult to accomplish overnight, and it is a long-term accumulation process. Only "thick accumulation" can "thin hair". Therefore, extracurricular reading activities should be regarded as a long-term work of the school and an important aspect of school culture construction. I think a school with rich and solid reading activities must be a school with all the characteristics and details. Therefore, the school should consider and guarantee from the aspects of mechanism guarantee, personnel arrangement, time utilization and activity organization.

3, combined with the comprehensive study of Chinese, do a good job in guiding the reading of special topics. Thematic reading is an effective way to effectively achieve our work goals and strengthen reading guidance. Theme reading allows students to master the reading information about the theme in a relatively short period of time, and give reading guidance in combination with corresponding activities, so as to realize the effective combination inside and outside the class.

4. Bibliographic recommendation and methodological guidance go hand in hand. Combined with the children's literature world, the reading content of each grade is planned, the school recommends the bibliography, and the reading method is guided by activities. For example, reading for an hour every day, after reading a book, write down your reading experience or experience, write down your reading feelings, and summarize your reading methods.

5, the diversification of reading methods, make some efforts, reading is not just reading, there can be other ways. For example, TV reading (columns such as Meridian Liuzhu and Exploration Discovery are rich in knowledge and novelty, which should be said to be helpful for enriching students' reading), online reading, and guiding students to read relevant online books (or downloading and establishing relevant online stacks in schools).

Generally speaking, our work progress is relatively low, and the form and validity are not deep enough. I also need to learn more from my brother school.

Nowadays, the "Reading, Dreaming of Flying" cultural care plan has spread the "golden seeds" of reading to Blackstone Campus. With everyone's close concern and active participation, the "Golden Seed" has sprouted and thrived. Tomorrow, we will use our heart, wisdom and creativity to carry out children's favorite reading activities, so that children can feel that "opening a good book is like opening a window and opening a treasure house of knowledge"; Let children taste "a good book is like a clear spring, which is not only clear and bright, but also refreshing and refreshing."
