Qiongzhou College Library was founded in 1978. 1993, the former Hainan Normal College and Normal College merged into a comprehensive university-Qiongzhou College. In 2006, Qiongzhou University was upgraded to an undergraduate college and renamed Qiongzhou College. The new library building in Sanya Campus covers an area of 32,000 square meters and has 3,600 reading rooms. The new library is equipped with a reader's expert exchange room, a student association activity exchange room, an electronic reading room, a multimedia academic lecture hall, a postgraduate study room, a reader's self-study space and a characteristic library area.
