Jules gabriel verne was born in Nantes, France on February 8, 1988. His family has a tradition of sailing, which deeply influenced his later writing. When he was a child, he went out to sea on a merchant ship privately, trying to go out to sea with the ship, but he was found to have returned it to his parents and has been under strict supervision ever since. To this end, he promised his parents that he would only "dream about traveling in bed" in the future.

When Verne's father learned that his son had no intention to continue studying law, he flew into a rage and decided to cut off financial aid. From then on, the young Verne had to make a living by writing.
After spending considerable time studying geography, engineering and aerospace in the Paris Library, Verne finished his first novel, Cinq semaines en ballon (1863). However, his attempt to publish this book was not smooth-16 publishing house rejected Verne in succession, and Verne threw the manuscript into the fire in a rage, but his wife saved it; Fortunately, 17 finally agreed to publish this book. Later, he soon began to write works that later became classics of early science fiction: Journey to the Center of the Earth (1864), From Earth to the Moon (1866) and Two Wan Li under the Sea (20,000 lieues sous lemers).
