Formerly known as Zhou, and later renamed. When I was a teenager, I studied poetry and classics at home, and liked unofficial history's miscellaneous notes and folk painting art. From 65438 to 0898, I studied at Nanjing Jiangnan Naval Academy founded by Westernization School. A few months later, I was re-admitted to the Railway Mining and Metallurgy School affiliated to Jiangnan Lushi School, and began to contact the new school. 198 1 year, the earliest essay Jia Jiansheng's Miscellaneous Notes included in The Complete Works of Lu Xun published by People's Literature Publishing House was written in this year.
1902 to study in Japan. He entered Hongwen College in April, graduated from 1904 in April, and entered Sendai Medical College in June. During this period, he began to participate in various national democratic revolutionary activities and extensively dabbled in modern western science and literature books and periodicals. The first half of the earliest translated article "The Soul of Sparta" was published in the fifth issue of Zhejiang Tide published in Japan in June 1903. In the same year, the first translated science fiction novel A Journey to the Moon Boundary was published in Tokyo.
1906 abandoned medicine and joined literature, hoping to transform the national spirit with literature and art. After failing to organize the literary magazine "New Life", he published important papers such as Human History, Moro Poetry and Cultural Re-discussion in Henan magazine. Translated with Zhou Zuoren,/kloc-published the first collection of foreign novels in 0/99.
/kloc-returned to China in the summer of 0/909 and taught in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Normal School and Shaoxing High School. After the Revolution of 1911, he served as the principal of Shaoxing Normal School. 19 1 1 year, he wrote the first novel homesickness written in classical Chinese, which has the same ideological characteristics and artistic style as later novels. Pushkin, a Czech scholar, thinks it is "the pioneer of modern literature in China".
1965438+In February, 2002, at the invitation of Cai Yuanpei, he went to work in Nanjing Ministry of Education, and then he did not move to Beijing with education, and served as a clerk of the Ministry and the head of the second department of social education. Later, he served as the head of the first section of the Social Affairs and Education Department. After school, our school studies ancient books, Buddhism and epigraphy. 19 18 In May, the first modern vernacular novel, Diary of a Madman, was published in New Youth under the pseudonym of Lu Xun, attacking the "cannibalism" sin of feudal ethics. In the following three years, he published more than 50 translations of novels, new poems and essays in New Youth, and participated in the editing of New Youth. 1920 was hired as a liberal arts lecturer in Peking University and Beijing Normal University in August. From 192 1 12 to the beginning of the following year, The True Story of Ah Q was serialized in the supplement of the Morning Post. /kloc-published the first short story "Scream" in 0/923. 1926 The second short story Vagrancy was published. These works are the most famous masterpieces in the history of China's new literature, which have had a far-reaching impact on later creation.
In addition to novels, he began to write many essays with unique styles, represented by several random thoughts, which were published in New Youth 19 18. The original prose collection Hot Wind was published in 1925. Since then, the opportunity has been announced every year. These essays have distinctive characteristics of the times, profound and powerful analysis of society and human nature, sharp and lively writing, strong fighting and appeal, and become a unique style in the history of China literature.
In the mid-1920s, he participated in the establishment of Mangyuan Weekly, Yusi Weekly and Unnamed Literature Society, and devoted his life to cultivating literary youth.
1927 Joined Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou at the beginning of the year, and served as the head of literature department and the dean of educational affairs. In April, he resigned because he saw through the true face of the Kuomintang counter-revolution. 1August, 927, became a professor at Xiamen University. In June 5438+10 in the same year, he went to Shanghai and settled in Shanghai from then on, specializing in writing. 1928 founded Liu Ben magazine with Yu Dafu and began to learn Marxist-Leninist literary theory. 193, the Chinese Left-wing Writers Union was established. He is one of the founders and the main leader. He has successively edited important literary periodicals such as Germination, Sentinel, Crossing the Street and Translation. In the cultural suppression of the Kuomintang government, it argued with "nationalism" and other factions, and also criticized the internal ideological trend of "doing", which effectively promoted the proletarian revolutionary literature movement.
1936 55 years old died of overwork and lung disease in Shanghai. He left a cultural heritage of about10 million words, and many of his works were translated into many languages, enriching the treasure house of world literature. He devoted himself to the liberation of the Chinese nation. When buried, the Shanghai people's representative presented a banner in black and white on the coffin, which read "soul of china"
