What do you think of the development prospect of animation industry in China today?
Animation industry refers to the development, production, publication, broadcast, performance and sales of animation books, newspapers, movies, television, audio-visual products, stage plays, new animation varieties and other direct products based on modern information communication technology, as well as the production and operation of derivative products such as clothing, toys and video games related to animation images.

China has a population of/kloc-0.3 billion, of which at least 500 million are consumers in the animation market, with a market space of/kloc-0.0 billion yuan/year. At present, there are 2,000 provincial and municipal TV stations in China, including 4 animation channels, 25 children's channels, 289 children's programs and 200 animation programs, with an annual demand of 260,000 minutes and a national output of only 20,000 minutes. As for children's audio-visual books, the market space is 65.438+00 billion yuan/year, children's wear is 90 billion yuan/year, toys are 20 billion yuan/year, stationery is 60 billion yuan/year, and children's food is 35 billion yuan/year.

By the end of 2006, there were 5,473 animation enterprises and 447 colleges and universities in China, with 466,000 students. However, the current situation of domestic animation is lack of originality, single theme and poor brand awareness. The trend of animation in China is obvious, and it lacks competitiveness. Lack of professionals, strong team and scale advantage. And rely too much on the support and help of the government, but lack its own "hematopoietic" function.

Although there are many problems in domestic animation industry, the prospect of domestic animation industry is bright. With the vigorous promotion of the government, the domestic animation industry has developed rapidly, and corresponding support policies have been introduced. At present, there are more than 20 animation bases under construction in China, and the broadcasting platform is constantly enlarged, which provides more room for the development of domestic animation.

In April 2006, the General Office of the State Council forwarded the opinions of the Ministry of Finance and other departments on promoting the development of China's animation industry, and put forward a series of policies and measures to promote the development of China's animation industry. Based on this, many enterprises have adjusted their development strategies and plans, and new comic periodicals, books and cartoonists with national style and characteristics of the times have grown rapidly. Magazines such as Comic World and You Man have been welcomed by readers, Water Margin and The Journey to the West Comic Edition have been published abroad one after another, and a number of old and new comic works have gone abroad to win the market. Animation education and personnel training, animation industry base construction, animation international exchange, etc. Have entered the fast lane. However, there is still a big gap between the development of China's animation industry and the growing spiritual and cultural needs of the people and the growing market demand, and there have been no fundamental changes in originality, talents, technology, investment, intellectual property protection and management system. There is still a long way to go to achieve the goal of becoming a world animation power in 5 to 10.

Animation products themselves have a huge market space, and the derivative products of animation products have a bigger market space. At present, the annual sales of children's food in China is about 35 billion yuan, toys are about 20 billion yuan, children's clothing is more than 90 billion yuan, and children's audio-visual products and various children's publications are 654.38+000 billion yuan ... To some extent, the future development and marketing of these industries depends on the driving role of animation, a new industry, and so on.

The above is excerpted from China Animation Industry Analysis and Investment Consulting Report in 2007-2008.

I think it is true that the prospect is bright, but personally, I think that "the output value of China animation industry will exceed 100 billion and there will be huge room for development", mainly children's animation and derivative goods. Look at the cartoons of the Olympic Fuwa. They are also naive, reaching the appreciation level of primary school students. Is China's view on cartoons too narrow? Why cartoons and children's films must be equated! The same is true of TV stations. Few people want to play cartoons if it is not compulsory by the state. ...
