I remember it was the summer of 1999. Go to Dongtou to play and visit Guo Xiuxing's house. At that time, Mr. Guo was the vice president of Dongtou County Poetry Society, and I was deeply attracted by a book "Hundred Islands Poetry". In my impression, only Li Bai and Du Fu have this elegant rhyme of poetry. I didn't expect that living in the twentieth century today, there are still many literati who have such a strong interest in classical poetry. I marveled at the beauty of classical poetry for the first time. Teacher Guo sent me a handout on how to write classical poetry and gave me the first lesson on classical poetry. Since then, I have been fascinated by the writing of classical poems. With the help of Miss Guo, I was able to write poems and write lyrics independently. Under the teacher's introduction, I joined the Wenzhou Poetry Society in the second half of that year. After joining the poetry club, people who know me say that I have changed, become energetic and more feminine. Yes! After my son 1996 was born, I spent most of my energy on him. I seldom read and study, and people become sloppy, and my life is irregular. When I was a student, I liked writing articles very much. Since I became a mother, I have rarely written letters, and my heart is very lost and full of melancholy. It was Mr. Guo Xiuxing who brought me into the wonderful world of poetry. It was poetry that rekindled my ideal and found myself. I seem to have returned to my student days, so enthusiastic and full of sunshine. I have a library card of the city library and often go there to borrow books. I borrowed the most books on poetry, including 300 Tang poems and 300 Song poems, and classified appreciation series of ancient poems. Of course, there are vivid novels, satirical essays, essays with long lasting appeal, popular folk literature and so on. I know that if you want to be a real poet, reading widely is the key, and your basic skills must be solid. Usually, you should practice more pens and use your brains to gain something. I use one day as two days. I work in a company and have a break of more than two hours at noon. I use my lunch break to read poetry books or practice writing poems, because I know I have to do housework and take care of my children when I go home at night, and I have little time to study. Therefore, lunch break became my "second day". Don't underestimate these two hours, as long as you don't waste them, you can learn a lot in these two hours! Visiting bookstores has become a big hobby of mine. I often take my son to find good books on weekends. Appreciation of Tang and Song Poetry, 300 Song Poems, Selected Poems of Li Bai, etc. They are all my treasures. My son has grown up. I hope that one day, my son will be as interested in classical poetry as I am. My painstaking efforts were not in vain. A few days ago, my son said to me, "Mom, I also want to learn classical poetry writing." I am ecstatic. I won't be lonely on the way to writing poetry in my life. I have a son to accompany me!
