Because of his early learning and painting skills, Wenboren was deeply influenced by Suzhou local tradition and Wen Zhiming. After middle age, Wen Boren traveled to Beijing, Nanjing, Songjiang and other places, and became an important promoter of introducing the style of writing to other cities. The audience often compares it with Wang Meng, one of the four great painters in Yuan Dynasty.
