1. Dazhimen Railway Station
Dazhimen Railway Station is located in Chezhan Road, Jiang 'an District, Wuhan, the former French Concession in the old city of Wuhan, and the existing T-junction of Chezhan Road and Han Jing Street. It is an important legacy of modern railway construction in China. Dazhimen Railway Station 1903 was completed and put into operation. After the founding of New China, it was renamed Hankou Railway Station. Later, a new Hankou Railway Station was built in Wuhan, and it was transformed into today's Hankou Railway Station by imitating the architectural style of Dazhimen Station, but the original station site was no longer used. Typical French architecture makes Dazhimen full of charm. It is not only a living cultural relic to record the development history of Chinese railways, but also witnessed countless days and nights to defend Wuhan.
Address: T-junction of Han Jing Street, former French Concession, Station Road and Han Jing Street, Jiang 'an District.
Second, Xintai Building
Xintai building is relatively young in the old house in Hankou, but it has a history of hundreds of years. 1866, a Russian brick tea factory named Xintai came to Wuhan to open a factory. Later, its business scale gradually expanded, and it also invested in the whole building, named Xintai Building. This is a complete steel-concrete structure with Ione attached columns at the top and square columns on both sides, which is firm and beautiful. Nowadays, the original appearance of many buildings in the building has been blurred, but in details, such as the staircase emblem, we can see the big picture from the small, and we can vaguely see the brilliant shadow of that year.
Address: No.0/58, Jiang Yan Road, Jiang 'an District.
Third, Wuhan Art Museum
The facade of the former site of Jincheng Bank of Wuhan Art Museum adopts the western classical colonnade style, which makes the facade of the whole building look magnificent and full of certain changes from the colonnade. 1938, the Japanese invaded Wuhan and seized Jincheng Bank Building as the headquarters. It was not until the victory of the Anti-Japanese War 1945 that it was taken back by Jincheng Bank. After liberation, it was leased to Wuhan Library. In 2003, it is planned to establish Wuhan Art Museum. While retaining the original architectural features, the new museum has scientifically designed and reformed its internal structure according to the functions and facilities requirements of the museum.
