Legal analysis: E-books, also known as digital books, are the digital manifestations of paper books with the rapid development and continuous integration of modern information technologies such as computer technology, communication technology and network technology. E-books are one of the important types of electronic publications. Compared with printed books, e-books have many advantages, such as integration, nonlinearity, interactivity, digitalization, high-density storage, quick retrieval, reliability, small size, short publishing cycle, simple production, easy revision and reprint, strong retrieval ability, rich graphics and text, and fast distribution and transmission. Therefore, as soon as it came out, it attracted people's extensive attention and achieved rapid development.

Article 2 The term "works" as mentioned in the Copyright Law refers to intellectual achievements that are original and can be reproduced in some tangible form in the fields of literature, art and science.

Article 3 Creation as mentioned in the Copyright Law refers to intellectual activities that directly produce literary, artistic and scientific works. Organizing work, providing suggestions, material conditions or other auxiliary work for others' creation is not regarded as creation.
