Before drawing single-line and multi-line graphs, data should be collected first.

Firstly, the method of single line chart is introduced: open the data file with SPSS, click on the graph, old dialog box and line chart in turn to open the dialogue window of line chart.

In the line chart dialog box, click Simple, Case Group Summary and Define to open the simple line chart definition window.

Select "Other Statistics" in "Line Representation", then select "Beijing" in the variable (taking Beijing as an example here), select "Year" in the classification axis, and then confirm.

The one-line diagram is ready.

Let's introduce the practice of multi-line chart. In the dialogue window of line chart in step 3, select Multi-line chart, variable summary and define.

Enter the "define multiline line graph" window, and select the variables to be plotted in "line representation", taking the data of Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai and Wuhan as examples. Select "Year" for the category axis, that is, year, and then confirm.

The multi-line chart is ready.

If you change the color and other properties of the chart to make it more beautiful, double-click the chart to enter the editing page and edit the chart properties.
