Applicants must be China citizens and foreigners aged 14. Applicants should go to the library with valid certificates.

Applicant refers to/kloc-a minor under 0/4 years of age. The applicant went to the library with a household registration book with an ID number printed on it.

Matters needing attention in using reader's card:

1. Each reader can only apply for one reader's card, and can apply for different functions according to personal needs.

2. Foreign and foreign readers applying for the reference lending function must show their Shanghai long-term residence permit at the same time.

3. The general lending function can be handled by all central branches. Other functions need to be handled in Shanghai Library.

4. The reader's card is for personal use only. If it is fraudulently used or borrowed by others, the staff has the right to withdraw the reader's card.
