Changchun Jianzhu University Library was founded in 2003. The old library building covers an area of 6750 square meters. It was completed and put into use in 2004, and the new 20,000-square-meter museum has been officially put into use. The new building is divided into seven floors as a whole. The new library has the characteristics of complete functions, reasonable layout, large reading space and rich collection of books.

There are more than 6.5438+0.7 million Chinese and foreign books in the library, including nearly 6.5438+0.9 million paper books, more than 590,000 electronic books, 22 175 bound periodicals and 35 17 bound newspapers. There were hundreds of periodicals and newspapers in that year. Received more than 200,000 readers, and the circulation of books and periodicals reached 654.38+10,000 times.

The collection construction of the library highlights professional characteristics and covers all aspects, forming a collection system focusing on architecture, art, environment, electronics and transportation, and combining social science with natural science. The library also has a variety of carrier literature information resources. The library has successively introduced digital information resources such as CNKI series database, superstar e-book database and five-car e-book database developed by Tsinghua Tongfang CD-ROM Co., Ltd.
