Panzhihua University Library was founded in 1984. The library of Panzhihua Institute of Education merged 1994, the library of Panzhihua Health School merged 1998, the library of Panzhihua Technical School merged in 2004, the Xiyuan Library of Panzhihua University was established in 2007, the school archives and the library merged 20 15 to form a library (archives and library information center), and the Dongyuan Library of Panzhihua University was established 20/kloc-0.

The library has a total construction area of 185 1.4 square meters (excluding archives) and a collection of 4,695,800 books, including 14 1.82 million paper books and 3,277,600 electronic books, which collect articles, science, engineering, economics and management.
