Introduction of camshaft regulating valve
OVC valve is a solenoid valve used to adjust the opening and closing time of the valve, which can advance or delay the intake time.
By adjusting the phase of the engine cam, the opening and closing time of the valve changes with the engine speed, which can improve the combustion efficiency of combustible gas in the cylinder and increase the engine power, and then make the engine work in an ideal state.
Disassembly and assembly steps of camshaft solenoid valve
Take out the water pipe on the engine cover, and be careful not to use a screwdriver to avoid scratching the water pipe. Remove the cover plate, the air inlet solenoid valve is shown by the arrow, the socket is gray and the exhaust is black.
Lift the white safety button on the plug. You can gently push up at the arrow with a flat screwdriver, and then press the black button in the middle to unplug the plug. Unscrew the fixing screw of solenoid valve with 10 mm sleeve. The old solenoid valve is a little tight, so you can gently pry it up at the top socket position with a flat screwdriver, and be careful not to get dust around it.
Put in a new solenoid valve and fix the screw, and tighten it slightly. The cylinder head is made of aluminum alloy. Insert the plug, put back the engine cover and fix the water pipe, and start the test run. If possible, you can use X43 1 to eliminate the fault code.
