Henan Polytechnic University is located in Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan Province. It is a provincial public undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education. It is a key "demonstration applied technology undergraduate college" in Henan Province, a training base for the integration of production and education established by the National Development and Reform Commission, and a pilot college for the overall transformation and development of Henan Province.
The Master of Henan Province was awarded to key engineering training units, the first batch of "assembled" architectural talent training bases in Henan Province, the first batch of "Chinese excellent cultural heritage bases" in Henan Province, and the civilized campus in Henan Province. It was rated as an advanced grass-roots party organization in colleges and universities in Henan Province, an advanced collective in tackling poverty in Henan Province, an advanced unit in coal education in China, and an advanced unit in talent construction in textile and garment industry in China.
This school has a long history. The school was formed by the merger of Zhengzhou Economic Management Cadre College and Henan Textile College in 2007. Zhengzhou Economic Management Cadre College was founded in 1956, directly under the former Ministry of Coal. The former Henan Textile College was founded in 1954, and its running history can be traced back to the official secondary technical school of Henan Province, which was established in 19 10.
The school has a solid foundation. There are three campuses, namely Longhu Campus, Tongbai Road Campus and nanyang road Campus, covering an area of more than 2,600 mu with a construction area of 6,543.8+0.06 million square meters. The library has a building area of 35,000 square meters, 4.03 million books (including e-books) and 680,000 kinds of e-books. Gymnasium, indoor swimming pool, gymnasium, student activity center and other facilities are complete.
