Since 1980, the first National Book Fair has been held in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Wuhan, Shenzhen, Changchun, Xi 'an, Changsha, Nanjing, Kunming, Fuzhou, Guilin, Tianjin, Urumqi, Chongqing and Zhengzhou. The host city is still uncertain.
