The Austrian National Library is open to all users aged 16 free of charge. Except for research institutions, official departments and degree personnel, books are not lent out and only used in libraries. The museum provides photography, reproduction, microfilm, etc. , hold seminars for users, and organize receptions and visits. The normal use of library readers is free, and special services (photocopying and Internet use) are charged.
