The library of Yangzhou University was formed by the merger of six academic libraries in September 1998. At present, the Book Center of Yangzijin Campus (Zhaowenguan), the Graphic Center of Hehuachi Campus (Yifu Pavilion) and the Graphic Center of Slender West Lake Campus (Wen Jing Pavilion) have offices, the Department of Literature Resources Construction, the Department of Systems and Digitization, the Sci-tech Novelty Retrieval Workstation, the Department of Information Consulting and Teaching Research, the Department of Ancient Books Collection and the Department of Readers' Work. In addition, Jiangsu University Document Information Guarantee System, Suzhou Document Center and Yangzhou University Information Research Institute are all affiliated to the museum.

The library is rich in literature and covers a wide range. There are more than 3.258 million documents in the school; In 200 1 year, 3,376 Chinese newspapers and periodicals and 548 original foreign periodicals were ordered. There are many large-scale documents in the museum, such as Si Ku Quan Shu, Continued Si Ku Quan Shu, Si Ku Quan Shu Catalogue Series, China Modern Historical Materials Series and so on. The collection of local chronicles in northern Jiangsu is relatively complete, and the literature, history and agricultural cooking have their own characteristics, and Dunhuang studies are rich in materials.
The library is rich in electronic literature resources, including all kinds of electronic publications, including China Journal Network Mirror Station, Superstar Digital Library, Founder Apabi Digital Book System of Peking University, EI, PQDD, IEEE/IEE and other 40 large databases at home and abroad.
