I am a typesetting major. The so-called style typesetting has nothing to do with whether I can open it on another computer. Style typesetting refers to setting a set of styles in Indesign, including text style and paragraph style.

Among them, the text style is mainly: font, font size, word color, bold, italic and other settings;

Paragraph styles mainly include: character spacing, paragraph spacing, vertical adjustment spacing, pre-paragraph spacing, line spacing, line spacing and other settings.

The reason for setting styles is that many of the same operations can save a lot of time without having to set them separately in every place.

Many typesetting softwares have styles, such as Founder Soaring and Founder Flying. Styles in id can be exported and imported, and other people's styles can be used in your document, but it has nothing to do with whether the file can be opened on other computers.
