Zhengzhou Anti-aircraft Artillery Academy is the only anti-aircraft artillery command academy in the whole army, which trains junior command officers for anti-aircraft artillery units and foreign students for foreign troops.

Zhengzhou Anti-aircraft Gun College was formerly the Anti-aircraft Gun School established in Shenyang in September, 1949. The college has three training levels: undergraduate, junior college and technical secondary school, and offers seven majors needed by junior commanding officers of anti-aircraft artillery units.

There are dozens of laboratories in the college, and nearly 100 experimental projects can be set up. There are 8 professional training grounds in the hospital, which can be trained around the clock; There are four field training bases outside the hospital, which can meet the field exercises of various majors.

There are many reading rooms in the library, with more than 400,000 books. The college has an audio-visual center and a 10 standard audio-visual classroom. In terms of talents, equipment and teaching materials, it is at the forefront of similar institutions.
