After Kennedy was assassinated, many places were named after him to commemorate him:

New york Idlewild International Airport was officially renamed as John F. Kennedy International Airport on February 24th, 1963, and most people used to call it JFK for short.

The U.S. Department of Defense named an aircraft carrier USS John F. Kennedy and launched it on1October 22nd, 1964. 1964 An adult education institution opened in Pleasant Hill, California is called Johns Kennedy University.

John F. Kennedy Library, 1964 In memory of the late American President John F. Kennedy, it was decided to build a permanent building in Boston Harbor-the John F. Kennedy Library. This library, which was built in 15 and completed in 1979, caused a sensation in the American architectural world with its novel design, bold modeling and superb technology, and was recognized as one of the best masterpieces in American architectural history. The American architectural community declared 1979 as the year of I.M. Pei, and awarded him the gold medal of the American Architectural Society that year.
