Generally, students in the North Campus live in Tianma Student Apartment. This is a modern apartment with a balcony and a separate bathroom for four people. Tianma's dormitory seems to have hot water equipment, but it has never been used! At least I didn't take a hot bath when I was alive.
The accommodation in Tianma is good, but the class is more troublesome. It takes half an hour to walk to school, but there are buses to choose from.
If you live in the old dormitory on campus or the dormitory by the river, it is eight people, bunk beds, with their own desks but no wardrobe. Toilets and bathrooms are public. Living on campus has many advantages, it is convenient to attend classes, and it is close to the library to go back to the dormitory to rest at noon.
Our dormitory has internet cable, which is convenient and cheap. But if you live in an old dormitory, I suggest you don't take your computer with you for the time being, and it's not too late to install it when you change your dormitory in your sophomore year.
