He has served as director of Chengdu Du Fu Memorial Hall, director of China Classical Literature Research Office of Literature Institute of Sichuan Academy of Social Sciences, deputy director and director of Literature Institute, and secretary of branch of China Literature Institute. Since 1978, in addition to organizing and participating in academic activities and exchanges of foreign sinologists on China's Tang literature, he has also written more than 50 articles on Tang and Song literature, history and Shu Ci, which have been published in newspapers and periodicals in Hong Kong and Taiwan and received favorable comments. He also published notes and collected many works of China's ancient poems. 1982, Sichuan People's Publishing House published Reading Notes on Du Fu's Caotang Poems, which was well received by readers and won the third prize of scientific research achievements in philosophy and social sciences in Sichuan Province in 1984. 1986 Notes on Huajian Collection and Notes on Wei Zhuang Collection were published by Sichuan Literature and Art Publishing House and Sichuan Academy of Social Sciences Publishing House respectively, among which Notes on Wei Zhuang Collection won the third outstanding scientific research achievement award of Sichuan Academy of Social Sciences. 1987 Notes on Selected Landscape Poems of Past Dynasties in Sichuan published by Chongqing Publishing House (cooperation). 1992, Taiwan Province Zhongzheng Bookstore published Notes on the Poems of the Zen Family Hanshan, which was included in the China Classical Literature Series by the publishing house and distributed all over the world. It became the recommended work of "Individual Golden Tripod Award for Mainland Book Works" established in Taiwan Province Province, and also won the fifth outstanding scientific research achievement award of Sichuan Academy of Social Sciences. 1992 and 1994, with the support of millions of funds, Chongqing Publishing House successively published the Complete Works of Shu Ci in Past Dynasties and the Supplement to the Complete Works of Shu Ci in Past Dynasties, which were welcomed by the majority of poetry lovers. His deeds have been included in Dictionary of Contemporary China Social Science Scholars, Dictionary of Contemporary Young and Middle-aged Social Scientists, Dictionary of China Ancient Literature Researchers (Korean Edition), Ci Hai of Chinese Characters, Who's Who in the World, etc.
