The building is surrounded by green space, small bridges and flowing water, and pavilions; The indoor environment is spacious, bright and transparent, with green plant curtains hanging, evergreen all the year round, echoing the quiet reading atmosphere and integrating with the outdoor mountains and lakes. The whole building is full of modern flavor. Both libraries have an entrance and exit, which can bring bags into the library and integrate lending. The library now has more than 1.4 million paper books and 900,000 electronic books. There are nearly 1800 kinds of Chinese and foreign paper periodicals and more than 30 Chinese and foreign databases. It has formed a document guarantee system featuring agricultural and forestry documents, supported by multidisciplinary documents such as science, engineering, literature and management, and adapted to the professional characteristics of the school.

First of all, the computer management is realized in the literature procurement, cataloging, circulation, retrieval and statistics. 1998 connected with Cernet and entered the Internet, and upgraded the library management system in the same year. 1999 to establish a periodical database and manage the current and back issues of Chinese in 2000 by computer. In 2002, the library management system was updated for the second time, and it has most functions of digital library, such as resource sharing, interlibrary loan, remote joint cataloging and so on.
