1. Tianjin Cultural Center is a municipal administrative and cultural center located in Hexi District, Tianjin, China. Tianjin Cultural Center covers the whole area east of Youyi Road, west of Longchang Road, south of Paradise Road and north of Pingjiang Road, with a total area of about 900,000 square meters. The projects of Tianjin Cultural Center include Tianjin Library, Tianjin Museum, Tianjin Art Museum, Tianjin Grand Theatre, Tianjin Youth Activity Center, Tianjin Galaxy Shopping Center, and Ecological Island.

2. Tianjin Cultural Center is a project planned and constructed by Tianjin Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government to adapt to Tianjin's rapid economic and social development, reflect the urban development orientation, improve the urban cultural functions, and utilize and integrate existing cultural resources to meet the cultural needs of the people. It is also a practical project to enhance Tianjin's comprehensive strength and influence. In Tianjin Cultural Center, * * * more than 40 design units from 12 countries participated in the design scheme competition of the cultural center at all stages, and finally it was decided that 12 design units from China, Germany, Japan and the United States would carry out the design.
