Sanjiang university is located on the Huaihe River in Xinqin at the foot of Niushou Mountain in Yuhuatai District, south of Nanjing, between the two rivers and three mountains. It looks at the ox head in the south, Fangshan in the east and Zijin in the north. The river is magnificent, Qinhuai is clear, and the mountains and green waters blend. The Historical Evolution of sanjiang university

Sanjiang university's school name can be traced back to 1902 Sanjiang Normal School (the predecessor of Southeast University, Nanjing University and other universities). 1992 In March, four retired and about to retire professors and education management cadres from Southeast University, Tao Yongde, Qi, Ding from Nanjing University and Xie from Nanjing Staff University, initiated the establishment of sanjiang university.

1June, 1993, the Jiangsu provincial government agreed to establish the sanjiang university and try to recruit students. /kloc-0 was formally established in April, 1995 with the approval of the former State Education Commission. In February 2002, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, it was upgraded to an undergraduate university, named sanjiang university.
