Su Shi's Complete Works of Su Dongpo
original text
Some enlightenment: the servant lives in Dongpo, and he grows rice.
There are 50 acres of land, and I am raising my wife and silkworm, and I am dying.
Yesterday, a cow died of illness. The doctor didn't know what it was like, but the old lady did. She said, "This cow has bean sores and needs to vomit with Artemisia annua porridge."
Use its words to influence.
Don't say that after living in exile, the servant has always become a thatched cottage Weng, and his wife is still taking care of the black peony.
This is a thousand miles of laughter.

Modern translation
(Zhang Dun, word thick son, Su Shi's friend, was an official in Beijing at that time. )
(In the second year of Yuanfeng, Song Shenzong (1079), Su Shi was accused by some powerful people in the imperial court and was impeached and demoted to Huangzhou as an assistant envoy.
He wrote to Zhang Zihou with ease and pride, telling him that he had cultivated terraced fields and planted rice himself. The 50-acre field was a free world for him and his wife who shared weal and woe. )
Su Shi says hello to you.
I live in Dongpo, west of Chibi, where terraces are opened to grow rice, with 50 acres of paddy fields. I tilled the fields and my wife raised silkworms, thus killing the years.
Yesterday, a cow was very ill and almost died. Dr. Niu doesn't know what the disease is, but my wife does. She said, "This cow has bean spot sores. Let it eat Artemisia annua porridge. "
Such an attempt really works.
Don't say that I just became an old farmer after being demoted, and my beloved wife knows how to treat diseases.
I said this to make you smile thousands of miles away.
