In this crisp autumn season, our school is celebrating its 70th birthday. In my eyes, seventy years old is such a long time. For an adult, it has reached old age, but my school has become younger and more beautiful in the process of 70 years' growth. I learned from President Li that the school used to be as big as a playground and all kinds of facilities were not complete. Now our school has become a provincial key school, with a high teaching building, a wide playground, modern teaching facilities, various plants on campus, and a very large swimming pool and library. I feel very happy and proud that I can live and study in such a clean and well-equipped school.

In order to celebrate the seventieth birthday of our school, the teachers and students of our school have prepared rich performances for this celebration. It touched my heart to see the teachers racking their brains to make the celebration program more exciting and sacrificing a lot of precious time to prepare. The students in charge of the band rehearse for an hour and a half after school every day. Although the rehearsal was hard, they insisted on rehearsing in order to perform well on the celebration stage. I don't mind taking up my spare time, but I just want to contribute to the performance of the school anniversary. Every time I see their uniforms wet with sweat after rehearsal, my face is still full of happy smiles.

Although I have not been arranged to participate in the performance of the program, I will also show the elegance of our school with my own practical actions.
