Hanoi University, formerly known as Hanoi University of Foreign Studies in Vietnam, was renamed Hanoi University in September 2006. It is a university directly under the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam. It is located in the southwest of the capital Hanoi (KM9, Hanoi, Chun Qing County and Ruantan Road) and is one of the national universities directly under the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam.
