The library of Shengli College of Youshi University in China was formerly the library of Shengli Oilfield Teachers College, which was founded in 1982 and renamed in 2003. The library was completed at the end of 1997, with a building area of 38 10 square meter and 642 reading seats.

The library currently has 15 employees, including master 1 person, 6 with bachelor degree and 7 with junior college degree, accounting for 100% of the total employees. Research librarian 1 person, deputy research librarian 1 person, 7 librarians, 5 assistant librarians, with intermediate or above titles accounting for 53% of the total number of employees. There are editing department, circulation department, reading department, information technology department, office, editing room, open-shelf stack room, newspaper reading room, reference room, electronic reading room, microcomputer room, student study room, office and other specific work departments.

After more than 20 years of development, a multidisciplinary collection system combining science, engineering, economics, management, literature and law has been gradually formed, which conforms to the professional characteristics of the college and complements traditional literature and digital resources, real collections and virtual collections. There are more than 290,000 books, and 993 kinds of books are published, which are now reported as 137 kinds. The collection features have changed from normal college education to comprehensive undergraduate education, taking into account related disciplines.
