This atlas aims at practicality, so plant medicine, animal medicine and mineral medicine are arranged in the form of graphic contrast. The book contains more than 720 kinds of Chinese herbal medicines and more than 730 color pictures, which are published in 7 volumes.
The first volume contains 207 kinds of Chinese medicines, most of which are commonly used in South China, and quite a few are used in this region, so they have certain regional characteristics.
The second volume contains 230 kinds of plant medicines, mainly folk herbs and some Chinese medicines with definite curative effects in South China, East China and Central China, so this volume is particularly useful for people who are keen on studying folk herbs.
The third volume contains 280 kinds, including about 80 kinds of animal medicines, about 40 kinds of mineral medicines, nearly 20 kinds of precious Chinese medicines made in China, and some Chinese medicines are selected from plant medicines. Each species is accompanied by a color map, and some of them are accompanied by a map of medicinal materials, which has important reference value for the production, management, scientific research and teaching of Chinese medicinal materials in southwest China and adjacent areas, as well as for the identification of original plants (animals, minerals) and medicinal materials by amateurs of Chinese medicinal materials.

This book contains 2 10 kinds of Chinese herbal medicines produced in Northeast China, including 203 kinds of plant medicines, each with a color map, some with medicinal maps, 6 kinds of animal medicines, and 1 kind of mineral medicines, and only one color map of medicinal materials. It is of great reference value to identify the original plants and medicinal materials for enthusiasts engaged in the production, management, teaching and business of Chinese medicinal materials in Northeast China and its adjacent areas.
