6. Ancient city walls in Ming Dynasty

The original Huizhou city wall has a circumference of 4,783 meters and a height of about 6-7 meters. In the 22nd year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1389), Huizhou City was expanded, covered with green red stone strips and filled with solid soil. Although most of them are incomplete now, the ancient city wall about180m near the Wangye Pavilion is still vivid.

7. Zhongshan Park (see Huizhou Zhongshan Park)

At present, Sun Yat-sen Park and Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall will focus on developing performances and cultural and entertainment projects. A leisure corridor will be built from the old library to the entrance of Sun Yat-sen Park, which mainly deals in antiques, calligraphy and painting, handicrafts and so on. After the former teacher training school and education bureau on the left side of Zhongshan Park are demolished, it will be transformed into a high-class classical five-star inn in Ming Dynasty style, from the current ancient city wall of Ming Dynasty to the Wenbi Tower.

8. Dongjiang Scenic Belt

As a scenic zone of Dongjiang, which is outside the ancient city, it is mainly developed by bars, cafes, Kara "O K" and other modern entertainment projects. The rebuilt Ming city wall will reflect Huizhou's human history and revolutionary struggle history in the form of external wall relief.
