Case 1: character education
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Talent education begins with morality.
If the moral character is low, even if you have great ambitions, you are not qualified talents. But moral education should not be a basket of rhetoric, not a dead letter. Taking Mother's Day as an opportunity, the Foundation launched a unique moral education activity among the donor groups such as Pearl students, which was entertaining and comprehensive.
Case 2: Pearl Recycling Plan
The Pearl Recovery Plan is to cooperate with key high schools to set up a pearl class with 50 students in our school, providing three-year tuition, accommodation and living expenses for "pearl students" with poor families and excellent academic performance to help them complete their high school studies when they are out of school. The school exempts "Pearl Students" from tuition and accommodation fees. Donors donate 7,500 yuan as the living expenses of each "Pearl Student" high school for three years, and Xinhua Foundation gives each "Pearl Student" 2,500 yuan for living expenses every year, and then the school gives it to students in the form of 200 yuan 10 month. In addition, 500 yuan, as books and other expenses, will be distributed in two semesters, each in 250 yuan. The "Pearl Recovery Plan" was launched in 2003. Up to now, it has developed from the initial Xinhua Aigao 1 school to 14 1 schools in 25 provinces and municipalities across the country, with a total of 706 pearl classes. Up to now, more than 35,000 pearl students with poor families and excellent grades have been funded.
In areas where poor provinces and cities are relatively poor and it is easy to find "poor" and "excellent" students, Xinhua Love Foundation will look for schools with good local teaching quality, which can attract poor students from all prefecture-level cities. School leaders are enthusiastic about running schools and can agree with the "Pearl Recovery Plan" of Xinhua Love Education Foundation to set up "Pearl Classes". Every year after the Pearl Class starts, the staff of Xinhua Aiji Foundation will use the evening self-study time to interview the newly enrolled Pearl Class students one by one, understand their family status, and make home visits to students in doubt.
Case 3: Love books
Because primary school books in remote areas are quite scarce, even if there are a few, most of them are old books left over from the 1980 s; In view of this, Xinhua Love Education Foundation has drawn up this "donation method of love library", which provides rich books and reference books according to the level of students in senior (fifth and sixth grades of primary school), middle (third and fourth grades of primary school) and low (first and second grades of primary school) and the needs of teachers, creates a reading atmosphere in schools, cultivates students' good reading habits and improves children's humanistic quality. Raise 30 thousand yuan to build a "love library" in schools in poor areas. 3,000 extracurricular reading books, leading children to swim in the vast world. In the remote areas of Gansu, Shaanxi, Henan, Anhui, Sichuan and other 20 provinces, more than 135 primary schools have completed the construction of love libraries.
Case 4: Love Primary School
There are many dangerous primary schools in poor areas, and it is very dangerous for children to study in such an environment. In order to change this situation, the Foundation joined hands with the local government to build Love Primary School. In principle, the government can set up a caring primary school in poverty-stricken areas by investing not less than the matching funds donated by the foundation in advance, plus the donation of 250,000-300,000 yuan from caring people. After the school is completed, it can be named by donors or "Xinhua Love Primary School". There are 353 brand-new Aixin primary schools that have heard the voice of reading aloud, benefiting more than 654.38+10,000 students.
Case 5: Love in the earthquake zone
After the "5. 12" Wenchuan earthquake, considering that a large amount of aid funds and materials entered the earthquake-stricken areas, the Foundation focused on the secondary disaster areas. After investigation, the fund first selected a group of rebuilt schools for donation, with a donation amount of 8 million yuan. In addition, in order to help students in earthquake-stricken areas who can't continue their high school studies because of family members' disability or personal disability, the Foundation also implemented the "Cold Plum Class Plan" in the disaster-stricken areas. The plan refers to the funding model of Pearl Recovery Plan to help students who can't finish their high school studies in disaster areas to finish their high school studies, hoping that they will bloom fragrant fragrance after suffering from the cold. The "Han Mei Ban Plan" is expected to be implemented for five years. At present, 67 1 student has been subsidized.
In May 2008, 12, Wenchuan earthquake shocked the whole world. With the enthusiastic donations from people from all walks of life at home and abroad, the foundation has undertaken many charitable donations. After full communication with donors and local governments, and considering the environment in the disaster area and the professional ability of the association, a number of funding work has been determined and fully implemented, and it is expected to be completed in three to twelve years. Pinghu city Foreign Language Economic and Trade Vocational Experimental Middle School: This school has one class from Grade One to Grade Three. The school is mainly aimed at students with unsatisfactory academic performance in junior high school, and its teaching focuses on cultivating talents with employment skills.
