Approved by the People's Government of Yunnan Province and the Ministry of Education, Yunnan Medical College was formally established in May 2003, and was merged into Kunming Medical College on 20 10, officially becoming the Zheng Ping campus of Kunming Medical University. Yunnan Medical College, formerly known as Yunnan Health School, was founded in 1936. At present, the school is located in Kunming, where the seasons are like spring, covering an area of 233 mu.
