The old library of Nankai University was built at1958; The new building-Yifu Building 1990 was completed; Jinnan Campus Library was built on 20 15. In addition, there are Shui Ying Road Campus Branch, Economic Management Branch and Nankai Mathematics Library founded by Professor Chen Shengshen, a famous mathematician, with a total area of 32,200 square meters. It has more than 2000 reading seats.

The library has more than 3 million books, including 6.5438+0.74 million Chinese books, 437,000 foreign books in more than 20 languages, 300,000 online ancient books, and nearly 3,000 books published in Chinese and foreign languages. The literature in the library is rich in economy, history, mathematics and chemistry. While continuously strengthening the construction of literature resources, the library also pays attention to the construction of digital library, and strives to form a collection pattern of paper documents and electronic documents going hand in hand.
