China Braille Library is located next to Taoranting Park in Beijing, covering an area of 28,000 square meters. It has four stacks, with a planned collection of 250,000 books and 660,000 tapes and CDs, which greatly meets the reading needs of the blind. At the same time, the cultural information service center for the visually impaired in the museum has a literature collection area, a reading area for the blind, an exhibition area, an education and training area and so on.

In addition, the education and training area has computer training classrooms for the blind, music training classrooms for the blind, visual function training, psychological counseling, oral video halls, etc., to provide all-round cultural services for the blind. Besides borrowing books, blind people can also attend training, watch movies and do psychological counseling. At the same time, the visually impaired cultural information service center has established a visually impaired cultural experience hall, a tactile hall and a cultural and artistic exhibition room for the blind in the exhibition area. In the tactile museum, blind visitors can feel China and world civilization by touching the physical model. In the Cultural Experience Hall for the Visually Impaired, visitors can learn more about the blind through a large number of pictures, text exhibitions, physical interaction and dark experiences.
