The second stage: when the child is four or five years old.
During this period, children's language expression ability, imagination and understanding have improved. You can take him to the bookstore or library and let him choose his favorite books. When reading, parents and he can discuss some issues, such as what would he do if the character in the book was him? Is the story reasonable? Children can also imagine other endings by themselves. No matter how unreasonable the child's arrangement is, don't deny him and guide him to consider the problem more comprehensively, so as to exercise the child's imagination and logical thinking ability.

The third stage; After the age of six
Children begin to learn to read, which is the age to start extensive reading. Lend children a lot of books, let them choose, read them if they like, don't read them if they don't like, and read them all at once. Through a lot of reading, his literacy, ability to understand problems and imagination will be greatly improved.
At this stage, parents still have to read and chat with their children for a while every night. At this time, the world faced by children is more complicated than before, and there will be a lot of thinking and confusion. Parents and children can relax and talk before going to bed, understand their thoughts and problems and give them some suggestions. This is the best time to establish close parent-child relationship.
Many parents worry that reading extracurricular books will delay their studies. On the contrary, reading will not only delay their lessons, but also be the most effective means to improve their learning ability. If children read more books, they will naturally become interested in writing, and what they write will be rich in content.
