Jiaxing has two districts, Nanhu District and Xiuzhou District. There is also an economic development zone that is not actually an administrative region, so it cannot be counted.

At present, the division of jurisdiction is basically to divide Jiaxing into two parts, Xiuzhou District in the west and north, and Nanhu District in the middle and southeast. Within the urban area, from west to east, the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal, Zhonghuan West Road, Zhongshan Road, Yuexiu North Road, Zhonghuan North Road, Dongfang Road, Changxiantang, Shanghai-Hangzhou Railway and Donghuan River are divided into two areas. The municipal government is located in Nanhu District.

Nanhu District governs Jianshe Street, Xinjia Street, Xinxing Street, Jiefang Street, Nanhu Street, Dongzha Street and Chengnan Street.

Qiao Feng Town, Yuxin Town, Xingfeng Town, Da Qiao Town and Qixing Town.

Xiuzhou District now governs Xincheng Street, Street, Street, Wang Zhen, Youchegang Town, Xincheng Town, Wangdian Town and Honghe Town.
