Books are the ladder of human progress. Reading is the best thing in the world! XX primary school attaches great importance to students' daily reading activities. The school offers morning recitation classes and afternoon reading classes every day, and each class has set up a reading group. There are bookcases with books drifting in the class, and teachers are required to give students reading lessons regularly.

According to the opinions of * * county on further developing the reading competition for leading cadres, combined with the actual work in our town, our town carried out reading competition activities among department-level leading cadres on 1 month. Through careful planning, overall arrangement, steady progress, constantly enrich the activity carrier, innovate the activity mode, and carry out activities in an orderly manner.

A leading group of department-level leading cadres' reading competition activities headed by the town party committee and organization secretary was set up to guide the development of the reading competition activities in the town and ensure the orderly and effective development of the activities. To study and formulate the "Implementation Opinions on Carrying out Reading Competition Activities" and the "Implementation Plan for Reading Competition Activities of Leading Cadres at Division Level", clarify the guiding ideology and objectives of the activities, and determine the steps and time schedule of the activities.
2. Carefully prepare, fully implement and arrange the opening of the reading contest.
The first is a reading questionnaire survey. A reading questionnaire was distributed to 15 department-level leading cadres in the town. Through investigation and analysis, we have found out the purpose, time and interest of leading cadres at the department level in our town. At the same time, we also found the problems of short reading time, small quantity and lack of planning in our town-level leading cadres, which provided a large number of detailed first-hand information for targeted activities.
The second is to guide the department-level leading bodies and leading cadres to make reading plans. Leading cadres at all levels are required to formulate individual reading plans according to the implementation opinions and implementation plans, combined with the actual work. At the same time, the individual reading plans of 15 department-level leading cadres were reviewed one by one, and the units with problems were ordered to redraft.
The third is to release recommended books and special reading notes in time. The recommended bibliographies distributed throughout the town include History of the Party in China, Trend 2 in China, Talks at the 18th National Congress, Cases of Crisis Management in communist party, and Accelerating the Transformation of Development Mode by Changing Leadership Mode. And issue reading notes in a unified way, and ensure that every department-level cadre has books to read and remember by issuing recommended bibliographies and reading notebooks, laying a solid foundation for high-standard activities.
3. The process of organizing a reading contest with various forms and rich connotations.
First, guide all units to carry out special activities. In order to deeply understand the development of reading contest activities, find and solve the problems existing in the activities in time, and summarize and popularize advanced experience. Second, actively participate in the essay-writing activities of the reading contest organized by the county government, which stimulated the enthusiasm of cadres for reading.

On the occasion of the half-year assessment of leading bodies and leading cadres at the departmental level, the organization conducted a comprehensive assessment of the development of reading competitions for leading cadres. Under the correct guidance of the leading group of reading competition for leading cadres at the township level, the reading competition has been steadily advanced and carried out in an orderly manner, and certain achievements have been made. At the same time, some problems have been found through supervision: first, individual cadres have not paid enough attention to it ideologically, and the system of leading cadres taking turns to lecture has not been adhered to. Second, the form of reading competition is not rich enough. Third, the publicity is not enough.
