Construction and Service Standards of Nishan Academy (Trial)

Chapter I General Provisions

Article 1 This standard is formulated to give full play to the educational function of libraries at all levels to citizens, build an innovative system for inheriting Chinese excellent traditional culture, innovate the public cultural service mode, and promote the standardization process of the construction and service of Nishan Academy in the whole province.

Article 2 This standard is the provincial standard for the construction and service of Nishan Academy. All localities can refer to this standard and implement it in combination with local conditions.

Article 3 Nishan Academy as mentioned in this standard refers to a professional service institution which is located in libraries at all levels in the province and is open to the society free of charge and carries out the collection, collation, preservation, dissemination and service of Chinese literature resources.

Article 4 The construction and service of Nishan Academy shall follow the principles of people-oriented, scientific planning, moderate scale, integrity, enjoyment and economy, and fully embody the public welfare, foundation, equality and convenience of this work.

Article 5 The purpose of formulating and implementing this standard is to build a public cultural service network covering the whole province, with Nishan Academy of provincial libraries as the leader, Nishan Academy of city and county libraries as the backbone, and Confucian lecture halls in rural areas as the foundation.
