A temperature sensor refers to a sensor that can sense temperature and convert it into a usable output signal. Temperature sensor is the core part of temperature measuring instrument, and there are many kinds. According to the measurement method, it can be divided into contact type and non-contact type, and according to the characteristics of sensor materials and electronic components, it can be divided into thermal resistance and thermocouple.
The installation position of the temperature sensor should be representative, and it should be avoided to be installed near the temperature dead angle, strong magnetic field and oven door, or too close to the heated object. The junction box of the temperature sensor shall not touch the container wall of the measured medium. The temperature at the junction box of the temperature sensor shall not exceed 100℃, and the WZP thermal resistance temperature sensor with ceramic or mica platinum resistance element shall be installed in a place without vibration or with little vibration. For WZC copper thermal resistance temperature sensor, it should be avoided to be installed in places with strong vibration. For those occasions with vibration, armored temperature sensors with good seismic performance can be selected.
The temperature change at the reference end of thermocouple temperature sensor should be as small as possible and not exceed 100℃ as much as possible. When choosing flameproof thermocouple temperature sensor, we must pay attention to the classification and grading of the installation site, and the grouping and regional scope should comply with the corresponding regulations. The thermocouple temperature sensor with porcelain protective sleeve must avoid rapid cooling and heating, and be installed in a place that does not hinder the movement of the heating body to avoid sudden cracking and damage of the porcelain tube.
The insertion depth of the temperature sensor can generally be determined according to the actual needs. However, the minimum insertion depth should not be less than 8- 10 times the diameter of the protective sleeve of the temperature sensor. The installation position of the temperature sensor is as vertical as possible, which can prevent deformation at high temperature. However, if there is a flow rate, it must be installed obliquely in the opposite direction to the flow rate (generally, the inclination is 45? )。 It is best to choose the bend of the pipeline, and the effective working part of the temperature sensor should be located in the middle of the fluid. When horizontal installation is required, if necessary, a support frame should be installed. The outlet hole of the junction box of the temperature sensor installed obliquely and horizontally should face downwards to prevent water vapor and dirt from falling into the junction box.
These are the three points I introduced about the installation of temperature and humidity sensors. Installation of temperature and humidity sensor can refer to my introduction above. The correct installation method of temperature and humidity sensor can bring better use effect of temperature and humidity sensor and make our installation easier. I hope my introduction above can help you!
