Guangzhou Building Materials Vocational School (Guangzhou Senior Vocational and Technical School) is a public national key secondary vocational school directly under the Guangzhou Municipal Education Bureau, and one of the first batch of "double certificates" pilot schools in Guangzhou. It is formed by the merger of the former Guangzhou Building Materials Vocational School and Guangzhou Building Materials Vocational School, and offers adult junior college and adult undergraduate education.
The school covers an area of 158.7 mu and is divided into two campuses: Yuangang Campus in Yuangang, Shahe, Tianhe District, Guangzhou and Yongfu Campus in Yongfu Road, Guangzhou. The school building covers an area of more than 59,200 square meters. There are gymnasiums, 400-meter standard sports fields and other places for students' cultural and sports activities. The total value of teaching equipment exceeds 25 million, and the library has more than 300,000 books. At the same time, the school has a well-equipped teaching experimental training center and student practice base, of which the garden art practice base covers an area of 56.5 mu, integrating training, teaching, exhibition, service and scientific research.

The major of municipal engineering construction was approved by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Construction as a talent shortage major in the construction industry.
