According to Baidu Encyclopedia, the west side of the main building of Dalian University Library is Building B of Dalian University Teaching Building, also known as the Central Building. The main building of Dalian University Library is located in the central area of Dalian University, with a total construction area of 22,526 square meters, which is divided into two parts: the main building and the annex building. The main building has five floors above ground and two floors underground, and the annex is the conference center.

Dalian University Library was founded in 1995, laid the foundation stone on August 25th, 1995, and put into use on August 26th, 1997. It has a total construction area of 2 1550.6 square meters, and consists of four buildings, A, B, C and D, with nearly 700 reading seats.
