Weifang Medical College, located in Weifang City, Shandong Province, is a full-time general medical college in Shandong Province. The school is a pilot university of China Excellent Doctor Education and Training Program, a famous school construction unit of Shandong Province for cultivating applied talents, a project school of Shandong Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program, and a university jointly established by Shandong Provincial Health and Wellness Committee and Weifang Municipal People's Government.
The history of Weifang Medical College can be traced back to 195 1 and wei county Yuedao College Presbyterian Hospital. According to the order of the Ministry of Health of East China Military and Political Commission, the Health Department of Shandong Provincial People's Government instructed the Weifang Central Health Center to build the Shandong Weifang Medical School.
The school 1958 started undergraduate education, 1986 awarded the master's degree, and 1998 obtained the qualification to recruit foreign students. In 2008, he passed the evaluation of undergraduate teaching level by the Ministry of Education with excellent results, was approved to serve the national special needs doctor training program in 20 12, and began to recruit doctoral students in 20 13.
