There were thousands of students in the school at that time, but there were no casualties. Four ambulances have sent the injured to Qinyang People's Hospital for treatment. According to the preliminary understanding, the collapse was caused by the weak steel pipe support in the construction building, which has caused about 1 1 workers to be injured.

After the accident on the 27th, Qinyang sent a special person to Jiaozuo, and three experts were randomly selected from the "Expert Database of Engineering Safety Demonstration of Dangerous Construction Projects in Jiaozuo City" to rush to Qinyang for identification. After on-site investigation and comprehensive analysis by the expert group, it is preliminarily determined that this is a scaffold collapse accident caused by the instability of high formwork.

After on-the-spot investigation by experts, the book office building project consists of three parts. The east and west parts are respectively a six-story full-frame library and office building with a length of 50 meters, and the middle part is a three-span single-story connecting passage with a height of 7.5 meters +2 1.6 meters +7.5 meters and 14.40 meters; At present, the main structure of the library and office building has been capped, and the accident is that the beam slab with the elevation of 18.6 meters in the middle connecting passage collapsed instantly due to the instability of high formwork.

Accompanied by medical staff and their families, the wounded are being properly treated and their condition is stable.
