Gu Yue Library is located in Shengli West Road, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province, next to Datong School. Xu Shulan (1837 ~ 1902) was founded in the late Qing Dynasty. Gu Yue Library is the earliest library in the history of Chinese libraries, and it is also the first library with the characteristics of modern public libraries.
