Wuyi pontoon bridge site is located in Wuyi Old Street, Wuyi Town, Nanqiao District, Chuzhou City. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty and is an ancient site with an area of 2,480 square meters. It is the fifth batch of cultural relics protection units in Chuzhou City, and the publication number is Chu Zhengmi [20 17] 122.
Protection scope: 30 meters north, 30 meters west and 30 meters south of the ancient wharf, and 5 meters around the inscription on the other side.
Construction control zone: outside the protection range10m.
Wuyi Town: Wuyi Town is located in the southeast of Chuzhou City, at the junction of Anhui and Jiangsu. It is 30km away from Chuzhou 1 1km in the north and Nanjing in the south. Beijing-shanghai railway, Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Railway, Machuyang Expressway and Chuning Expressway pass through the town, with obvious location advantages and convenient land and water transportation. Known as the "South Gate" in eastern Anhui. Now it is the "bridgehead" of Chuzhou's eastward development strategy and the economic center of Nanqiao District. Wuyi Town is a sub-county town, which governs 12 villages and 3 community neighborhood committees. The whole town covers an area of 145.5 square kilometers, of which the market town covers an area of 4.68 square kilometers.
