The tuition fees of Yangtze University are 4,500 yuan/year and 5,850 yuan/year for ordinary undergraduate majors, 65,438 yuan+00,350 yuan/year for art majors, 4,500 yuan/year for sports majors and 35,000 yuan/year for Chinese-foreign cooperative education majors.
Yangtze University, referred to as Changda, is located in Jingzhou, a famous historical and cultural city in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. It is a comprehensive university with the most comprehensive disciplines and the largest scale among colleges and universities in Hubei Province. It is a key construction university in Hubei Province, a double-class construction university in Hubei Province and a basic capacity-building engineering university in the central and western regions.
1978 changed its name to Jianghan petroleum institute, and began to hold general undergraduate education, which belongs to China oil and gas group. In April 2003, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the former Jianghan Petroleum College, Hubei Agricultural College, Jingzhou Normal College and Hubei Medical College of Health Workers merged to form Yangtze University. In 2006, the school was granted the right to confer doctoral degrees.
