Gaofu is located in Ganzhou District Library, West Street, Ganzhou District, Zhangye City, also known as "Gao Company commanders mansion". Built in the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, it was the high-ranking residence of Zhangye people in the Qing Dynasty.

Gaofu was announced as the sixth batch of provincial cultural relics protection units in Gansu Province in 2003 and the eighth batch of national key cultural relics protection units in 20 19. Now it is managed and used by Ganzhou District Library.
