1 background of the problem

However, this is only an extension of the time of Chinese ancient book edition, which has little influence on the discipline construction of edition. People don't realize that we should establish a kind of China edition study, which at least includes China's books in various periods; Some books on the edition of Chinese ancient books are openly labeled with the word "edition", ignoring the definition of the title: time (ancient books), region (China) and nationality (Han nationality, rarely involving other nationalities in China). Faced with such a wealth of ancient and modern Chinese and foreign documents and their versions, it is not only too inappropriate, but also a cognitive mistake to call the version study that belongs to a certain section of a nation's history "version study".
